What can we learn from this lesson?

1. Moses took care to obey God in the smallest of details. Obedience is important.
2. Moses delegated the work. He had a shared ministry. He didn't try to do all the
work himself, but allowed others to use their gifts and talents as well.
3. There are many tasks to do to keep a church maintained. No job is too small or
unimportant.
4. Notice how the book of Exodus began in sadness. The Israelites were slaves.
The book ends in glory. You and I began as slaves to sin. We were redeemed by God and
will end our journey in victory.

Prayer: Gracious God, help me to follow your plan and be obedient in doing your work. Help me to work well with fellow-workers. May no job be too small or unimportant for me to do. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
