What can we learn from this lesson?
1. These offerings were voluntary. God wanted the people to be cheerful
givers.
2. God created people with a variety of gifts to be used in the work.
All of us
have special abilities.
3. The people had to work together to accomplish this tremendous task.
We need to
work together today to accomplish all that God needs us to do.
4. Note - God didn't ask Moses to build the tabernacle himself. Moses
didn't have the
expertise. Moses invited and motivated gifted people to use their
abilities.
5. What talent has God given you to use in God's work?
Prayer: Gracious God, help me to serve you with joy. Show me where you
need me to use
my talents. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
